About us

We're always ready for the call,

We place our trust in Thee.

Through surf and storm and howling gale,

High shall our purpose be,

"Semper Paratus" is our guide,

Our fame, our glory, too.

To fight to save or fight and die!

Aye! Coast Guard, we are for you.

The Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation, a non-profit organization, honors Coast Guard personnel and their families for the extraordinary role they play in our nation and our community; celebrates and educates regarding the many deep connections that exist between the Coast Guard and Cape May County.

Cape May County is designated as a Coast Guard Community, a title obtained though a rigorous application process and granted by the United States Congress and United States Coast Guard. This designation recognizes the special relationship between the Coast Guard and the people of Cape May County, and the Foundation's activities support the designation.

The Foundation was formed in 2015 and executed the inaugural Coast Guard Community Festival along with partners: Cape May County, the City of Cape May, the Cape May - Lewes Ferry, and the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce.

The Foundation currently is seeking to fill vacant Board of Trustees positions. Please contact Executive Director Mike Couch at mike.couch@coastguardcommunity.org for more information.
